What is Content Type Prioritization?
Content Type Prioritization helps you control how different types of content are queued and published on social media. Think of it as your editorial assistant—helping ensure your most important stories reach the right audience at the right time.
Much like curating a front page, prioritizing content in True Anthem ensures that the most relevant and impactful stories get top placement while maintaining a diverse content mix.
By setting priorities, you can ...
- ✅ Ensure key stories don’t get buried in your content queue.
- ✅ Let high-performing content rise to the top.
- ✅ Maintain a balanced mix of content types in your feed.
How Content Type Prioritization Works
- Set Priorities for Each Content Type – Assign rankings to different types of content (e.g., breaking news, evergreen articles, videos). The higher the priority, the more likely that content will be published first.
- Same Priority = Best Performance Wins – If multiple content types have the same priority, the system will favor the best-performing pieces.
- Strategic Backup – Lower-priority content still has a chance to post when higher-priority content isn’t available.
Think of it like stacking content in a pyramid ...
- Top: Your most valuable content, prioritized to publish first.
- Middle: A mix of content types, helping balance your feed.
- Base: Lower-priority content that fills gaps when needed.
