True Anthem Single Sign-On (SSO) Implementation Guide

Introduction

For Enterprise Professional Tier partners, True Anthem supports Single Sign-On (SSO) using the OpenID Connect (OIDC) standard. This guide provides the necessary information and steps to integrate True Anthem with your organization's identity provider, ensuring a seamless and secure authentication experience.

 

Note: True Anthem Single Sign-On (SSO) is only available to Professional packages.

Enabling SSO for Your Organization

To enable SSO, ensure that each user's True Anthem login email matches the one used with your identity provider. True Anthem supports a range of OIDC-compatible providers, including Google, Microsoft, and Okta. Please contact your Customer Success Manager to initiate the SSO setup process.

Customer-Provided Information

To proceed with the implementation, your organization must provide the following details to True Anthem:

  • Authentication Email Address Domain(s): True Anthem supports one domain per customer.
  • OIDC Client ID
  • OIDC Issuer URL
  • OIDC Configuration: Ensure that your OIDC client is set up with an Implicit Flow:
    • Grant type: implicit
    • Response type: id_token
  • Test Login Account: A test account must be provided to True Anthem for verification. This account can be removed once the implementation is confirmed.

True Anthem will supply your organization with the necessary callback URLs for both test and production environments:
