A Step-by-Step Guide to Adding New Users in the True Anthem Dashboard

As your organization continues to grow, so does the need to efficiently manage your team's access to the True Anthem Dashboard. Understanding the process of adding new users is pivotal to maintaining seamless operations and ensuring the right people have the right access. This guide is designed to help administrators effortlessly navigate the process of creating new user logins for their team members.

Getting Started: Accessing User Settings

First, navigate to the User Settings Page by clicking the Settings icon located in the left rail navigation menu. Then, select the "Users" option in the top-level navigation menu to proceed.

Adding New Users: The Basics

Only administrators within your account have the privilege to add new users. If you're an administrator, look for the green “Add New User” button in the upper right-hand corner of the User Settings Page to begin the process. If you’re not an admin, but need a teammate added to your campaign, please reach out internally to a team member in the list of users with the role of Administrator. Also, please note that there currently is no limit to the number of users from your team that can be added to an account or campaign in the True Anthem Dashboard.

Defining User Roles and Permissions

Decide the role for the new user: either a Standard User or an Administrator. Each role comes with specific permissions:

Standard User: Can manage smart searches, view schedules and publishing rules, and manage queue actions.
Administrator: In addition to Standard User permissions, can also manage users (adding and removing users’ campaign access, updating users’ roles, etc.).

Inputting User Details

New user creation requires the user’s full name, email address, and assignment to one or more campaigns within an account. You also have the option to designate a user as a Primary Contact for a campaign, which is crucial for receiving alerts if your connected social network accounts experience any authorization issues.

Professional Tier: Single Sign-On (SSO)

For organizations utilizing the Professional Tier with SSO, ensure the user’s True Anthem login email matches the one used with your identity provider. True Anthem supports OpenID Connect (OIDC) with a range of providers, including Google, Microsoft, and Okta, among others. To enable SSO for your organization, please contact your Customer Success Manager.

In summary, this guide is crafted to streamline the user addition process, making it straightforward and hassle-free. By following these steps, you can ensure that your social media team has the access they need to contribute effectively to your campaigns.
