Getting Started: Creating Content Rules

Fine-tune your content recommendations by setting up Content Rules in just a few clicks.

  1. Go to "Schedule" in your True Anthem Dashboard.
  2. Click the "Content Rules" tab to start customizing.
  3. Choose your Post Job & Content Type to make changes to.
  4. Expand "Content Rules" by clicking the down arrow.
  5. Select your filter criteria, including:
    • Page ID (e.g., /news/), URL, Title, Description
    • Keyword, Category, Smart Tags, RSS Feeds
  6. Choose to "Include" or "Exclude" content based on your filters.
  7. Click "Create New Filter", enter keywords, and save!

Note: Our filters are using an "OR" logical operator which means content selection will match at least one of the selected conditions. For example, if you filter for "Red OR Blue shirts," you'll see all red shirts, all blue shirts, and any that are both red and blue.

Editing Content Rules: Fine-Tune Your Filters

You can modify both time-based and metadata-based Content Rules:

Time-Based Rules

  • Content Age Limits: Set minimum & maximum age of content.
  • Post Frequency: Control how often content is posted.
  • Recirculation Timing: Define the minimum time before re-sharing.

Metadata-Based Rules

  • Adjust existing filters like keywords, page IDs, or URLs.
  • Add or remove filtering criteria to refine recommendations.

Note: Custom Meta Maps are not editable, currently.

Need to remove a rule? Just click the red ⛔️ icon, then confirm with the green "Save" button. Done!
