Authorize a Nextdoor Page in the True Anthem Dashboard

Note: Only Local News Publishers have access to NextDoor.

If you are a Local News publisher and don't have access, contact your Customer Success Manager.


Need to connect and authorize your Nextdoor Page(s) in the True Anthem Dashboard? Follow these simple step-by-step instructions below:

  1. Log in to the Nextdoor account (on nextdoor.com) that you want to connect to True Anthem.
    In another browser tab, log in to the True Anthem Dashboard.
  2. Select the Campaign you want to connect from the drop-down menu in the top-left corner of the Dashboard screen.
  3. Click the Settings icon on the left-hand side of the Dashboard, and select Social Networks from the navigation menu.
  4. In the row containing the Nextdoor icon, click the “Add” button all the way to the right.
  5. A pop-up will appear prompting you to fill out your Nextdoor Page information. Here, you can either claim and create a new Nextdoor Page or claim/authorize an existing Page. Complete the following fields:

    - Nextdoor Login Email Address: Enter the email address associated with your Nextdoor account (you must be the Page Owner to authorize an existing Publisher Page).

    - Website URL: Enter the URL of your website (e.g., https://www.example.com).

    - Brand / Property Name: Enter the name of your local news brand or publication or existing Nextdoor Page.

    - Brand / Property Description (Optional): Provide a short description of your brand or publication.

    - Country: Select your country from the dropdown (e.g., United States).

    - Upload Logo Image (Optional): Click Browse Image to upload your brand logo.
     

  6. Once all required fields are filled out, click the green “Continue” button.
  7. Follow any additional prompts from Nextdoor to complete authorization.
  8. Return to the True Anthem Dashboard, where you should see a success message confirming the account authorization.
  9. To authorize additional Nextdoor Pages, repeat steps 1–9 above.
