True Anthem Intelligence provides continuous, near real-time insights into high-performing Facebook posts across pages you select to monitor. We keep these feeds fresh and actionable by updating post data and performance metrics every five minutes. Below is a detailed breakdown on the how and when this data is updated.
⏱ Update Frequency: Every 5 Minutes
Your Intelligence dashboard is designed to be up-to-date, and you never need to click to refresh! The data in your Intelligence dashboard automatically refreshes every 5 minutes. Look for the small countdown timer in the bottom left of your screen to know exactly when the next data refresh is scheduled to happen.
📊 What Gets Updated?
Intelligence tracks two main things: new posts and the engagement metrics of all posts.
New Posts
When you add a Facebook Page to monitor, True Anthem begins tracking only new public posts from that moment onward. We do not pull in older, historical Facebook posts.
We check for new posts every 5 minutes. As soon as a fresh post appears, we begin tracking its engagement immediately.
Post Performance Metrics
We track these key engagement metrics per post:
• 👍 Reactions, 💬 Comments, and 🔁 Shares
• 📈 Total Interactions (the sum of reactions, comments and shares)
• 📊 Interaction Rate (Total Interactions divided by the page's follower count—a great measure of true engagement)
Engagement Metrics Update Schedule
A post's engagement metrics (reactions, comments, shares) are updated on a smart schedule: the newer the post, the faster we check it! Our logic is that posts tend to generate the majority of their engagement in the first few hours that it's posted. Therefore, we update the more recent posts more frequently to give you the most accurate early pulse.

👀 What You See in the Dashboard
When you look at your feeds, we combine all this fresh data and smart math to show you:
• Real-time engagement counts
• Benchmark comparisons (e.g., “+3.2x comments” means it's doing 3.2 times better than average)
• Performance scores that highlight over- or under-performing posts
All this happens automatically in the background, giving you a continuous, actionable pulse on what’s trending.
🚫 What We Don't Include (Yet!)
To keep the beta fast and focused, a few features are not included in Intelligence for now:
• No historical post backfill: We only track new posts from the moment you add a page.
• No real-time alerts or summary emails (Don’t worry - these are coming soon!)
• No sort-by underperformance
🔒 Privacy & Access
We only collect public post data using Facebook’s official API. You don’t need to log in or grant us any special permissions. All data is always securely handled through system-authenticated access tokens.
