When you use the True Anthem Dashboard, our system automatically schedules content into time slots based on your settings (e.g., recurring schedule or smart queue). However, if you manually edit certain post details, the system flags the post and converts it from an automated post (True Anthem AI) to a manually scheduled post (User Scheduled).
This article details the specific changes that cause a post to lose its automated status which ensures your original changes are preserved.
What Causes the Status to Change from Automated to Manual?
Any manual change that affects the post's core media, timing, or destination URL will override the automation rules. Our system converts the post to "User Scheduled" to ensure your specific edits are honored and cannot be overwritten by subsequent automated processes.
The following actions will trigger the change from from an automated post (True Anthem AI) to a manually scheduled post (User Scheduled).
⚠️ IMPORTANT: User Changes Override Automation
This change is intentional: once a post is manually edited, it is treated as a final, definitive action by the user and is permanently removed from the automation workflow.
Confirmed Triggers for Status Change
The post will immediately convert to "User Scheduled" if you perform any of the following actions:
- Post Media Type is Changed: Occurs when the post type is modified—for example, switching from a Link Post to a Photo Post (or vice versa).
- Post Schedule is Updated: Happens when the scheduled posting time of an automated post is changed.
- Page URL is Modified: Triggered when the associated page URL is updated to a different one.
- Locked Slot is Reassigned: Happens when an automated post is moved by the user to another time slot, replaces an existing slot, or is locked into a different one.
- Smart Link is Removed (Instagram Only): Applies when a smart link is removed from a scheduled automated post on Instagram.
What Happens Next?
Once the post is converted to Manual Schedule Post, it will no longer be subject to automated content replacement based on performance or rule changes. The post will remain scheduled at its last set time and date, exactly as you configured it.
