TikTok's Link Anchor feature lets you attach a clickable link directly to a video, giving viewers a way to jump straight from your TikTok content to the full story on your site. True Anthem now supports this functionality in partnership with TikTok's API — currently in beta.
📝 NOTE: This Feature Is in Beta
Access to the TikTok Link Anchor is currently limited. To activate this functionality in your dashboard, both your brand's domain and your TikTok account must be approved by TikTok. If you're interested in joining the beta, please reach out to support@trueanthem.com or your Customer Success Manager.
Prerequisites for Use
Before you can add a Link Anchor to your videos, the following must be in place:
- TikTok Approval: Your brand's domain and TikTok account must be approved by TikTok for Link Anchor usage. TikTok is still rolling this functionality out across brands, so approval criteria and availability may change.
- Account Connection: Your TikTok account must be connected to your True Anthem dashboard.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Approval Happens on TikTok's Side
True Anthem cannot manually enable Link Anchor for your account. Both your domain and TikTok account need to be approved directly by TikTok before this feature will appear as an option in your dashboard.
How to Add a Link to a Video
- Upload Your Video: In the Post Editor on the Queue screen, upload the video you'd like to publish.
- Add Your Anchor URL: In the Anchor URL field, enter the destination link. This URL must be from a TikTok-approved domain.
- Confirm the Anchor Title: True Anthem will automatically pull in your article's title to populate the Anchor Title field. Since this field has a 35-character limit, you'll likely need to edit it down to something short and clear.

Where the Link Appears
Once published, the link will appear as a tappable anchor at the bottom of the video when viewed on TikTok.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Mobile Only
The Link Anchor currently only appears when the video is viewed on a mobile device. It does not currently display when viewing the video on Desktop.
