Note: This feature is currently in beta.
Our new Monetization & Rights Management integration allows you to activate YouTube monetization and Content ID matching directly when scheduling posts through the True Anthem Dashboard. This gives you greater control over how your content earns revenue and is protected against unauthorized use.
Configuring Monetization and Rights
You will find these options under the Monetization & Rights Management section within the Post Editor:
1. Upload Policy (Monetization)
This drop-down menu allows you to select a pre-set monetization policy defined in your YouTube Studio Content Manager. The selected policy determines how your video will be treated regarding ads and revenue.
- Selecting None will prevent the video from being monetized through this setting.
- Selecting a pre-built policy will automatically apply those monetization rules upon upload.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Policy Requirements
Your channel must be part of the YouTube Partner Program (YPP) to earn ad revenue. You must follow all YouTube monetization policies, which focus on content originality and adherence to Community Guidelines.
2. Turn On Content ID Matching
The Content ID Matching toggle enables YouTube's automated system to protect your copyrighted content against unauthorized re-uploads by other users.
When this is turned on, YouTube scans all uploads against a database of registered files and can automatically take action based on the policy you set.
Note: Content ID access is typically limited to copyright owners who meet specific criteria, such as owning exclusive rights to a substantial body of original material.
