Editing Already Published Social Media Posts

True Anthem allows you to edit posts that have already been posted on a social network, directly from the Dashboard, provided the social network supports editing via third-party integrations. Use this guide to identify which platforms allow changes and how to apply your edits.

Platform Compatibility

Due to API limitations set by various social networks, editing is not available for all platforms. Refer to the table below to check if your content can be modified:

How to Edit a Post

Follow these steps to locate and modify your scheduled content:

  1. Access Content Discovery: Hover over the Content menu in the Content Discovery section. 
  2. Toggle Social View: Slide the Social Media slider to the "On" position to view content already scheduled or posted to social networks. 
  3. Filter by Network: Select the specific Social Network you want to edit.

  4. Locate the Post: Use the Time and Content filters within Content Discovery to find the exact post you wish to change.

  5. Select the Content: Click on the Post Tile you want to edit.
  6. Open Options: Click the Options Carrot (arrow) located directly next to the Post Again button.
  7. Enter Edit Mode: Select Edit Post from the dropdown menu.

  8. Modify Content: Make your desired changes to the text, link, or media.
  9. Finalize: Click Save Post to save your changes and update the schedule.
