Whenever new content is published or modified on your website or social media platforms, the Smart Search results update dynamically to reflect the latest content that meets your criteria accessible to everyone on your team with access to the campaign it was created in.

Strategic Use Cases for Smart Searches

Here are some of the many ways you can leverage Smart Searches to optimize your social media content distribution:

• Uncover Hidden Gems: Find high-performing content from your website's past (evergreen content) that can be repurposed or re-shared for maximum impact.
• Fuel Trending Topics: When a hot topic emerges (like the Met Gala), use Smart Searches to discover relevant articles from your website to capitalize on the buzz.
• Prioritize Fresh Content: Quickly identify new content published on your website within the last 48 hours for immediate social media promotion.
• Recirculate Top Performers: Find content that hasn't been promoted in a while but has a good chance of performing well again based on past success.
• Target Specific Content Types: Filter high-performing social media posts by type (videos, photos, links) to curate a specific feed for your audience.

Pre-Built vs. Custom Smart Searches

True Anthem offers you a head start with pre-built Smart Searches that cover common use cases:

• Evergreen Content: This search surfaces content you've tagged as evergreen or indicated has long-lasting value.
• New Content: Discover website content published within the last 48 hours.
• Recent Content for Recirculation: Find website content from the last 7 days that hasn't been promoted in the past 72 hours, perfect for re-sharing.
• Top Evergreen Predictions: Leverage our Machine Learning to identify evergreen content up to 10 years old (with high confidence) that is likely to perform well again.

Beyond these pre-built options, the true power lies in customizing Smart Searches to your specific needs.

You can define filters based on:

• Website/Social Media Source: Choose the specific website(s) or social media account(s) to search within.
• Content Age: Set a range for how recently the content was published.
• Categories & Tags: Narrow down your search by website categories, RSS feeds, Team Tags, and Smart Tags.
• Keywords: Search by keywords within article titles, descriptions, URLs, and—for Professional Tier partners—even custom metadata parameters. Pro-tip: add a - before the search term to exclude content containing that keyword from the search results.
• Recirculation Status: Find content that's never been posted or identify content that hasn't been recirculated within a specific timeframe.
• Blocked Status: Include or exclude temporarily/permanently blocked content from your search results.
• AI-Powered Prediction: Leverage our evergreen or seasonal content predictions to focus your search on content for specific times of the year.

Building and Saving Your Smart Searches

Crafting your custom Smart Search is as easy as:

1. Navigating to the Content Discovery panel within the Queue section of the True Anthem Dashboard.
2. Applying your desired filters using the available parameters mentioned above.
3. Clicking on "Save new search" in the top right corner.
4. Assigning a meaningful name to your Smart Search (up to 30 characters).
5. Clicking the green "Save" button.

Modifying your Saved Smart Search with a new requirement is just as easy:

1. Make the modification to your Smart Search query parameters.
2. Click the “Save as {{Existing Smart Search Name}}” value in the upper right corner.
3. Click Save in the “Save This Search” pop-up without modifying the Smart Search name.

Setting Your Default Smart Search

Want a specific Smart Search to be your go-to view whenever you access the True Anthem Dashboard? Here's how to set a default Smart Search:

1. Hover over the Smart Search drop-down menu in the upper-right corner of the Content Discovery panel.
2. Hover over your preferred Smart Search.
3. Click on the ellipses (...) to the right of the Smart Search name.
4. Select "Make My Default" to set it as your individual default view.
5. Administrators can choose "Make Default for My Team" to set the default view for all team members with campaign access.
